Agential Topics is a meeting put on by the Agential Biology Institute which is founded because they are interested in the idea that there may be a missing causal layer in biology, and they are building the infrastructure to study that missing causal layer. Vadim Backman was invited as a guest speaker and he spoke about the "computational properties of the genome, including chromatin and, his specialty in epigenetics and genetics".
